2007-2008 (Freshman): Made significant strides throughout the season, playing in 11 games and averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game... Was 6-of-12 from the field and 12-of-13 from the free-throw line during the season... Logged season-highs in points (7) and rebounds (4) at Niagara (2/22)... Made 2-of-3 shots and 3-of-3 at the free-throw line against the Purple Eagles... Scored five points against Iona (1/31)... Made four free throws at Towson (12/28)... Scored four points and had two rebounds in her first collegiate game at Maryland (11/20).
High School: Played basketball and volleyball for four years at Huron Heights Secondary School in Newmarket, Ontario, Canadao... Also played two years of soccer and competed in track and field two seasons... Three-year Most Valuable Player of the basketball team and named captain her junior and senior seasons... Was also the MVP of the track and field team... Earned MVP honors twice at the Seneca College Basketball Tournament... Four-year member of the Nike Regional Development Team... Three-time member of the York Region Athletic Association All-Star Team... Named to the All-Canada Team and participated in the 2007 All-Canada Girls Rumble... Named the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Volleyball MVP in 2006... Volleyball team won two York Region Athletic Association titles and were the OFSAA consolation champions... Four-year Honor Roll student... Won the school's Physical Education Award twice and the 2004-2005 Civics Award... Also a member of the Athletics Council and the school's symphonic band and wind ensemble.
