Loyola junior Michael Deasel and freshman M.J. Jaskolski claimed the 2008 U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-17/18 Championship on Friday night on the Glenn `Mooch' Myernick Field at The U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Los Angeles. Phil Scholz Takes Gold In Final Paralympic Tune-Up

Loyola swimmer Phil Scholz earned one gold, one silver and four bronze medals in his final tune-up for the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, China. ECAC Adds Five New Members To Lacrosse League For 2010
07/10/2008 - Defending ECAC Champion Loyola College will have a new corps of conference opponents beginning in 2010, the ECAC Conference announced today. League commissioner Rudy Keeling announced the addition of five new members that include 2008 NCAA Tournament teams Denver and Ohio State.

07/05/2008 - Former Loyola women's track coach Julie Culley earned a Top-10 finish at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials with a seventh-place showing in the 5,000-meter final. Culley shaved off more than two seconds from her qualifying time to post an outstanding result on Friday night in Eugene, Ore.
