Senior Chris Derby played a bogey-free back nine, while freshman Alex Redfearn posted a team-best six-over par on Friday to lead the Greyhounds at the NCAA Central Region in Columbus, Ohio. The Loyola women's tennis team garnered six slots and seven individuals on the 2007-08 All-MAAC teams as announced by the conference office this week. The Greyhounds grabbed first-team All-MAAC honorees for No. 5 and No. 6 singles as well as No. 3 doubles. Loyola also posted second-team honorees at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles and took home the league's Rookie of the Year. Read Full Release

05/15/2008 - Senior Matt Bassler paced the Greyhounds in their opening round of the 2008 NCAA Tournament with a three-over par 74 on Thursday in Columbus, Ohio. As a team, Loyola scored a 318 on Ohio State's 7,455-yard Scarlet Course.
05/10/2008 - Playing in their second straight NCAA Tournament, Loyola's men's lacrosse team challenged top-seeded Duke in first-round play on Saturday afternoon in Durham, N.C. The Blue Devils, however, proved worthy of their No. 1 ranking and played like a veteran team en route to a 12-7 win over the Greyhounds.
05/05/2008 - Loyola's golf team will make its fourth appearance in the NCAA Men's Golf Championships May 15-17, 2008, when it travel to Columbus, Ohio, for the NCAA Central Regional. Follow action at the regional by clicking here.

05/07/2008 - Loyola, the 2007 MAAC Champions, opens its 17th season of women's soccer action on August 22 with an NCAA College Cup rematch at Virginia. In addition to the Cavaliers, Loyola will face Indiana, Old Dominion, Virginia Commonwealth, Villanova and Bucknell during the non-conference portion of its schedule.
05/08/2008 - Loyola College's ECAC champion men's lacrosse team landed six players on the 2008 All-ECAC squad. The Greyhounds, who won their first league title, took home the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year honors.
05/07/2008 - The Loyola men's lacrosse team is in the big dance again. The dancing partner - top-seeded Duke. The Greyhounds travel to Durham this Saturday for a nationally televised NCAA Tournament match-up with the Blue Devils. Game time is slated for 2:34 p.m. on ESPNU with Eamon McAnaney calling the play-by-play and Matt Ward providing color commentary.
05/08/2008 - Sunday the rowing team continued their championship series at the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Crew Championships. Competing in 6 select events, the Rowing Hounds brought home gold medals in 2 events and Silver medals in 2 events. Conditions were sunny but with strong headwinds that increased during the day. Coach Ramirez was pleased with our winning results but a tiny bit nervous about how we'll react to the pressures of even faster crews next weekend"
